The Royal Ottawa Golf Club, founded in 1891 and granted its “Royal” title in 1912, is one of Canada’s most historic and prestigious private golf clubs. Located in Gatineau, Quebec (just across the river from Ottawa), it features an 18‑hole championship course and a 9‑hole course (the “Royal Nine”), exceptional practice facilities including a state‑of‑the‑art range and short game area, and a scenic Tudor‑style clubhouse. The club is known for combining a rich heritage and architectural pedigree (designs by Tom Bendelow, later modified by Willie Park Jr.) with modern amenities and a strong sense of community.
